@LovelyPlum: @gilmoregirl: yeah! I hope we're due date twins (triplets?) again this time around

Nope! I'm going to spend most of 2016 pregnant and then I'll get my tubes tied when #2 comes out in August.

We will be TTC our second child and January will be our second cycle. Our DS is only 9mo, but I'd rather have the "chaos" all at once rather than get too comfortable before completely forgetting how childbirth was for me. The first two weeks PP were difficult, but I want to try again while that's fresh in my memory. Plus, I'd like for our children to be close in age. I'm 6 years younger than my brothers who were born 14mk apart and it felt lonely at times.

@combatlibby: this is our situation. We are still deciding (well, me more so than DH, he wants another) on number two. DS is only 10 months old but like you, I want the newborn chaos done and over with. I think if I waited a couple years to decide it would be a definite no since I wouldn't be willing to "start over" with the baby phase. We'll see.
So...maybe?

@Winterbee15: DH is on board mainly because he's on board to BD lol. Since having DS, I haven't really been open to DTD because of being tired. Starting over may leave me exhausted, but at least my husband will be here for the newborn stage unlike without first... He agreed to an out-of-state job when I was 8mo pregnant and finally returned when DS turned 8mo old. He rarely visited, but once he realized how many milestones he was missing, he told his manager he needed to come back.
Now we're back and comfortable in our two bed/two bath condo and DH's only issue with baby #2 is space. It's not that uncommon for siblings to share a room at a young age, plus DS slept in the living room until 6mo so we could do the same with the next. We are not in a financial position to move, but it's a great time to have a baby with my HSA savings and awesome insurance through the hospital I work for.
Sorry to make this lengthy! A lot of women our age that we know are announcing pregnancies as well. I've made friends with children DS' age, but it'd be nice to have existing family/friends with babies also.

@Winterbee15: oh and I don't want to completely pack away infant stuff!
cherry / 167 posts
@combatlibby: oh gosh that is ROUGH! I'm glad he's back though. We would really need a larger house to make it work and aren't really wanting to move until we can save to buy what we really want so, that's also a big factor for us!! I feel like I wouldn't need to buy much except diapers, formula and clothes (if it were a girl)!

Nope. I imagine around this time next year, we'll be having conversations about whether we're one-and-done or going to try for a second. Wouldn't be trying until later in 2017, though.

No!! We are done. It will be nice to not think about TTC anymore!
pomelo / 5607 posts
Thinking about it! But not till the very end of the year if we do, since getting pregnant before LO is 18mo would increase the risk of preterm labor again.

No! our youngest will turn 2 in Feb, and DH is snipped. Looking forward to no diaper bag status!

@Winterbee15: We were team green for #1 and got a fair amount of newborn up to 6 months in neutrals. I know that isn't the case for everyone looking for neutrals, but we hit the jackpot and therefore would do team green again with our next pregnancy.

We want to be done having kids by the time I'm 35, which will happen in 2017. So we're probably gonna try for our second in 2016.

Newbie here! We started TTC in September, but had bad timing the first 2 months... so really November was when it got good. AF came last weekend, so I'm hoping 2016 is our year!

Unless this year really punches us in the face, we plan to TTC #1 in the second half of the year. I am running a relay race in May, and we're buying a house this summer. With the physical and emotional stress of both of those, I don't think my body would cooperate any sooner.

Don't think so? Who knows. Wouldn't be until the end of the year, if at all.

Oooh I hope so! We are expecting #2 in April and, in theory, that's us done..... but I'm hoping something miraculous will happen (lottery win + really easy 2nd baby) that will change our plans!

Nope! But I will be getting into shape and losing a few pounds so that when we are ready likely 2017, my body is too.

Yes, we will be. We started TTC back in Aug and have since had a mc and a chemical. Hoping third time's the charm and that 2016 will be better than 2015.

Nope, we're done at two! Mirena is in and DH will go for a vasectomy before the end of those five years!

Maybe towards the end of 2016 if I can talk DH into it. I definitely think we will be TTC in 2017.
bananas / 9357 posts
Maybe. DH is still on the fence whether he wants a third. But if we go for #3, I would want to start trying in the summer-fall. Which is kinda crazy that that's only 6 months away.

I hope so! DD is almost 8 months so I'm thinking we'll be ready this summer at some point! I think dh would be ready sooner, but I'm hesitant after my csection!

Yes. LO is 15 months, and we were planning on TTC starting in February. But, I'm so so so so so so so scared, and still just can't picture how we'd handle it.
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
No way. We're 99% done at 2. I wouldn't even consider a third until K is in school and M is like 3.
pomegranate / 3375 posts
I don't think so! We are aiming for a 4 year age gap, which would put us TTC in 2017. That said, if I got pregnant, we wouldn't be upset ... It's just not the plan yet.
