We will be sitting it out. I haven't watched a football game in probably 10 years.

Yep, DH loves football!
Probably watch some of it after DD is in bed!

What constitutes watching it? I'll be at a Super Bowl party, and I have social anxiety so I'll probably be "watching" the tv to avoid talking too much. But I couldn't care less about it and won't actually be paying attention. I'll watch the commercials though.

@Torchwood: I think having it on counts! We are thinking of going to the movies!

No, we don't even have a television. Plus we aren't into sports AT.ALL.

Yes, but it'll just be on for me. Whereas, DH will actually be watching it!

Yep! I'm not a huge football fan, but I still love the super bowl. Hanging out with friends, all the food, the commercials...

Nope, this weekend is an extension of an already long week of sick kids. No tv watching or Super Bowl watching here.

Yes! We are a football family! We watch as many NFL games as we can every week! (As long as it's not on during the packer game!) Rooting for the Broncos tomorrow! I want Peyton Manning to win one last Super Bowl and then retire!

I'll be chasing kids around at a party, but it will be on tv, just not sure how much of my attention it will have.

Yup! Pretty much looking forward to Cam Newton embarrassing Peyton manning.

Maybe, if we're home and think of turning the TV on. We're not that into football and don't like either team, though, so I kind of doubt we will. None of our friends are having Super Bowl parties so there's no social reason to watch.

Yup! We're hosting a party at our house and ended up renting a bounce house because all of our friends are bringing their kids. I think the adults are going to be outnumbered!

I'm sure my husband will watch. I'm just not into it this year. I'm sure I'll watch the halftime show.

Nope. We're in Canada. Hockey is the big thing here.
Never once watched the Superbowl in my life.

Yes. I'll be doing some chores as well, but we'll definitely be watching.

This thread is the only reason I even remembered it was today! DH and I are not sportsball watching types at all.

Haha define "watching"... Yes, it will be on in the background as I munch on buffalo chicken dip and otherwise unhealthy snacks.
Go teams! Do that sports thing! Get a goalbaskethomeruntouchdown!

Only for the commercials! DH was filmed for one so we are waiting to see if he made the cut

@Finfan: Usually we'd meet friends somewhere but not this year with an infant! We are making chili to get into the spirit But neither of us knows anything about football! We will probably have it on but be browsing real estate sites ... Hoping to move within 18 months or so!

Nope, I don't follow at all during regular season, so watching the game feels hypocritical to me.
