I think I'm going to book one for after DH gets back from his business trip. He'll be gone a week. I'm mostly by myself with the two girls anyway so it shouldn't be a huge deal ... unless someone gets sick! Nooooooo!
Anyway, mine will probably be really similar to the one Mrs. Bee took!

DH offered to give me one on Mother's Day (weekend) but then he sprained his ankle and it never happened. I've asked for just an afternoon off, which i might take in the coming weeks.

DS is going with my parents to their lake house for a week at the and of June. DH is still working, so I'm calling that my vacation. I *really* need a vacation! I will probably do a lot of shopping.

I did when DS turned 2. I went to LA for a weekend and it was so nice to be alone!
I probably won't again until DD turns 2 since I'm still nursing and I don't want to pump where ever I go.

I guess you could say I have.... I went to a women's conference out of town with my mom when I was pregnant.... G stayed home with DH. We had alot of fun!
I don't think I'd go do something by myself though.... I'd be bored & wanting to tell someone about all I was doing! lol

I think for now ill bring dh with me. We both have parents here to babysit when needed so it makes more sense that we get relationship time.

I'm taking one next month with 3 other moms. We are just staying at a local hotel for the night. All of our husbands work together so they get baby duty for the day.

I really hope I can before #2 arrives. I'm not sure what I would do, though. What I REALLY want is to sleep in and not have to do any morning duties or bedtime duties! The inbetween stuff is fine...But I just want a break from that!

I am at the end of July. My church has been invited to a women's retreat at Lake Tahoe. I'm going to drop off LO at daycare on Friday morning and not come home until Sunday evening. DH will be on daddy duty from Friday afternoon until I'm home.
