Will you get your tubes tied?

If I end up having more c-sections on future children, then yeah, I think I get my tubes tied. If I am able to have successful VBACs, then nope no way, that will be his job.

Not after #2 in case we decide we want a 3rd...but if we do a 3rd I will for sure! (I will be having c-sections for any remaining children.)

If I end up having another c/s I will seriously think about getting them tied while they are in there but if I I get to have successful vbacs I will let dh get taken care of! Lol but I doubt wither of us will do anything permanent

No, I don't like the idea of permanent birth control. We're pretty sure we want three but we'd like to keep our options open and having tubes tied is so permanent. A vasectomy can be reversed, not sure how successfully, but I know once the tubes are tied, you're done.

No, and we are done with the 2 we have, and I had a csection with #2(planned). For one, I heard the recovery from having a csection and tubes tied is a lot harder/longer, and I couldn't risk that with a 15 month old as well. And also, I heard my hospital doesn't do tubal ligations, since it's a catholic hospital

I'm debating it, if I go with a planned c-section. But, I'll probably chicken out and go with a mirena.

I agree with some other girls that having tubes tied is too permanent of a surgery. Am I the only morbid person on here that thinks about such things as children dying? What if all your children died in a freak accident and then you wanted to have more? That happened to a couple in my county a few years ago.

And I am pretty positive DH won't ever get snipped.

We talked about this long ago and DH will have a vasectomy after our next (second) kid.

Probably not, I would rather get another iud after our "last" just to make sure we are certain about being done and then dh will get a vasectomy if we aren't past the appropriate biological stage by then anyway.

We have not discussed it but my DH absolutely refuses to get a vasectomy. I may consider getting my tubes tied though since a surprise pregnancy would be terrible for my health (and a potential LO). I know I'll be having IVF babies and c-sections for any births so I'd consider it after my last pregnancy. Not sure how DH would feel about it though.

Nope. SO will be getting a vasectomy. If (big if) we had a 3rd child and I ended up with a c-section I may have it done then. But only then.

Nope. But DH said he'd get a vasectomy his dad did it so he doesn't think it's a big deal

Nope... DH may get snipped but we're not for sure yet. Still got a couple kids to go so we've got plenty of time to decide. lol

During c-section, maybe. Otherwise, probably not. I prefer to avoid invasive surgery as much as I can.
