I find myself buying LO a lot of my favorite books from my childhood so I want to keep some of our books for any future grandchildren...
I am way thinking way too far into the future!

I think I may box up and keep some. I am actually thinking of boxing some up when she turns 2 or so because I don't want them all getting torn up when they aren't really relevant books anymore.

I plan on keeping them, and I will probably have an attic full of clothes, toys, and books for my future grandchildren. When my younger sister put away the books she outgrew, I made a point to box them up and tell her to save them for me. Those books are some of my LO's favorites, and I didn't have to spend a lot of money to start his book collection.

I say keep them! My mom just gave me a whole box of books that were mine and my sisters when we were babies and it's so sweet to have them.
She only kept the ones that were in a good enough condition to keep of course, but i'm glad she did!

I'll keep some of them, certainly. My sisters had people bring their favorite childhood books with inscriptions to my baby shower in lieu of cards. Some of those are certain to be heirlooms, such as an illustrated Robert Louis Stevenson's "Garden of Verses" with a note inside from my grandmother.

Yes! Half of her books are actually my old books. I'm sure we'll weed out some of the so-so ones, but for the most part, keep!

My mom kept our favorites. We have about 4 shelves worth. I'm so glad she did!

I'll probably save the good ones. I kept a few of my books from when I was a kid and it's nice to have them.

I will keep some of the good ones, or our favorites. My mom had kept some of our books but then my sister got the box and I'm bummed because we are much more of a reading family! Wish I could have at least got a few. Hopefully future grandchildren will enjoy them. We have over 300 though so there is no way I will keep them all.

I'll be keeping some! My MIL saved a ton of books and she's passed them down to her grandchildren.
