I usually do!
I hope people don't think I am pulling a prank this year... I'm finding out the gender of our baby on April 1st!

Lol I never do (and I won't this year either)… but if I was going to I just thought of a great one. My parents left for vacation in Mexico today and my mom is freaking out that I'm going to have my baby while she is gone. They'll be back on April 1. It would be sort of hilarious to tell her when she calls me when they get back "Soooooo I didn't want to tell you when you were in Mexico because I knew you couldn't get back in time and you'd just worry, but I had the baby!!" and then text her a pic of some random newborn. Omg so funny. And mean. But I don't have it in me to mess with her like that

Two April Fool's ago a resignation was announced. I thought it was a joke. It wasn't. That was not a good day to announce it on a conference call.
I usually don't prank people.

The joke is going to be on me, unfortunately. It'll be my first day back to work from maternity leave.

I like to do harmless office pranks, only if I have a really good friend in the office.
One year I went onto a lady's computer who has zero computer skills (we had each other's log in info for just in case purposes) and changed her mouse settings to be REALLY slow and the opposite of sensitive. She would try so hard to move her mouse and it would hardly move an inch - but it *was* moving! She was complaining about it to someone else a couple hours later and when I started cracking up, she put the pieces together

@Mamaof2: Do you have any plastic snakes or spiders? Put one in a place where he just grabs for something without thinking
ETA: I am still a child, obviously

I don't think so, but our first appointment/ultrasound are on April Fool's! I wanted to wait until then to tell our folks, but then I realized they might think I was joking. The same happened with LO1 - we found out we were expecting the day before April Fool's!

@pui: You should tell the tech to pretend like he/she has found a 2nd baby...freak your DH out by making him think you're having twins!

I will be on day 2 at the hospital so probably not. Maybe I'll pick on my nurse lol

I used to live for April fools day pranks on one of my coworkers. I looked forward to that holiday every year.
Three years ago I took a screen shot of his desktop, set it as his background, and hid all his folders. He was so pissed!! The best part was the IT guy had been in over the weekend and was notoriously horrible at his job, so our network was always messed up after he'd been in. My CW put all the blame on the IT guy!
We also used scotch tape on his phone once, so it would never hang up.
Another CW thought she was being sneaky by changing someone's mouse from left handed to right, but got caught because she loved in as herself on his terminal. When he went to log in that morning he saw her name on the sign in LOL
It was full blown The Office around there. Loved it!

I have one that I always want to do but never end up doing it. It's putting up signs on our copiers at work telling them we now installed a voice activated copier system. (Instead of using buttons.) I think it will be hilarious hearing people say 'Scan' and 'copy'.
This year I am somewhat dreading April fools. Maybe it's because of the IF FB group I'm a member of and seeing so many IF people getting annoyed at April Fool's jokes where people pretend they are pregnant. They didn't use to bother me but, this year, it will probably annoy/frustrate me if someone does it. Getting pregnant is not a joke to me and others struggling with IF.

I might tell DH that the doc called and found 2nd baby... but he works a really stressful job so I don't want to cause more stress! Or I might tell him I got another dog.. cause I always threaten to get one.

@psw27: Good one! I should stop in at an animal shelter and take a pic with a kitten and send it to DH. He would cry. And not come home... haha

@Mae: I seriously cracked up reading that! Mean, but hilarious.
I have a doctor's appointment that day and have considered telling people that they did another ultrasound and it's twins. But I don't think I would really do that.
