I'm trying to figure out if I want to do a quick trip back to my parents' town to see Mom for Mother's Day. The drive is 2.5 hours.
What are you going to do?

We go to my Aunt's house, so my grandma is there with all her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. So I will see my Mom there. But they are only 45 mins away.
For 2.5 hours, I will go in between Mother's and Father's Day and then celebrate both then.

My mom is too far to visit and my MIL will still be on a cruise.

My MIL is coming to visit. But my mom is visiting the week before... so I get to see both!

Stay home. My mom lives on the other side of the country, but she will be coming to visit a week after!

She lives only about 3 minutes away so I will def see her ! We always have lobster for Mothers Day supper since the first catches are right around that time.

We will be hanging out with MIL though.
For 2.5 hours, I would go - but I miss my Mom and hardly get to see her

I'm traveling 8 hours to see my mom. I plan on telling her I'm pregnant then!

Depending on when my babies arrive, she may still be visiting us. I assume my MIL will come to us too since I doubt we will be ready to go anywhere with them at that point.

Lo will be too young to travel so we'll stay home. My mom is actually on her way here now to visit until early may though so we'll have lots of time together before the actual day!

DH and I are going to his hometown to go see our nephew get baptized on mother's day. So we'll see his mom and family then. I told my mom that we'd go get a pedi that week since I can't see hey on the actual day.

I'll see her because we're going up together to UNC for my sister's graduation that weekend. Too bad we'll be going in opposite directions or we could finally meet up!! Will you be coming back down here anytime soon?!

She lives 10 minutes away so there is no doubt we will see her every Mothers Day.
This year (my first real one!!!) our church is doing a Baby Dedication so she will be there for that. I am so excited!

@mediagirl: I would go see your mom! It's not that far of a drive and they always come to watch LO for you on a drop of a hat.
We'll probably head my ILs and make dinner. My mom is 7hr away so won't see her.

My mom isn't close enough to see, so it will be staying home. I will see her the following week for vacation though.

I'd love to fly out with the kids and surprise my mom for Mother's day in 2015 or 2016.

My mil is coming which will be fun, I feel guilty about not seeing my mom though but it is a long drive (9 hours).

We'll be spending time with both my mom and MIL. I'm really thankful that we're close enough to see them...I wouldn't mind spending Mother's Day with just our little family though.

My mom is only 25 mins away and Mil only lives 10 mins away so well probably take both out but not sure yet plus this is my first Mother's Day so we'll see what DH wants to do
