I'm torn as well. I figured it out because my babysitter in elementary school didn't do Santa in their house and they put gifts under their tree as they bought/wrapped them, so we figured it out by early elementary school. It wasn't a big deal to us either way. We travel for Christmas though, since for me, Christmas is about being with my family. (And it's my birthday too, so I am selfish about spending the actual day of with my family since we see DH's family all. the. time!) So if we get into Santa, then we have to get into how he knows where we are going to be, etc... it seems like a lot of lies to me for something that I didn't care about growing up.
But I'm pretty sure that our families will outweigh me in this decision, and I'll give in.

I love imagination so there will def be a lot of make believe in our house. My husband said he never believed in Santa, and its fine if she doesn't ever believe, but I'm definitely going to tell her stories and play the game probably way past when she stops believing, we still pretend at my house and we're all adults.
She's almost 1 and a half and already she loves pretending she's a puppy, and I'm going to try to foster that creative/imaginative side.

Yep, we both believed in Santa plus we love Christmas so she'll definitely know about Santa.
