I always left something out for Santa when I was younger, it was one of my favorite parts of the morning, finding the crumbs Santa left! 
We will continue to do this with our girls. The last couple of years we did simple place and bake cookies but I think this year I want to have the girls help bake some cookies. Just something simple like chocolate chip!
Will your LO leave something for Santa to eat? It do you have another similar tradition?

Yes! We will let her pick the cookies and the treats for Rudolf. She also gets to sprinkle reindeer food on the front lawn for the reindeer.

We are going to bake birthday cake/cupcakes for Jesus on Christmas Eve, and leave one of those for Santa. We may throw in some cookies too

Its tradition here to leave a mince pie and a glass of sherry for Father Christmas.... but I might bake cupcakes with E on Christmas Eve and leave one of those out instead. We will also leave out a carrot for Rudolph.

I don't think we will do this unless my LOs specifically ask to (when they are older), but I think it's cute!

DS1 got a little baggie of gummy bears from DH's aunt this past weekend. He ate a few and then decided that he wanted to save the rest of the bag for Santa. So I'm guessing we'll leave those out along with a few cookies.

yes, all the stuff!!
Last year it was carrots and celery in a cooler for the reindeer.
Santa got options: milk, egg nog, beer, water
Choc chip cookies, pop-tart, and donuts.
Oh and a nutcracker and a bowl of peanuts!
I imagine it will be the same this year!

Mince pie for Santa, a carrot for Rudolph and we made reindeer food (oats, sugar and glitter) to leave on the lawn too.

Nope.
If he asks one day, we'll do it. Baking (or buying) cookies is not something I can fit into the schedule this year with work, gifts, wrapping, etc.

Yep! She says Santa wants brownies and hot chocolate. I tried to suggest cookies and beer, but she insisted he likes hot chocolate.

We always left an assortment of cookies out. I've been so sick for the past month, that I haven't been able to make much, but I did manage to make some cake balls and buckeyes this week. Hopefully my brother doesn't eat them all before Christmas. lol
