Will you be walking alot? If so, I suggest a stroller muff like JJ Cole.
I'm starting to think a jacket is not necessary but I will get a bunting for when we're outside. Winter boots such as North Face is probably not necessary since at 6-12 months they really won't be walking much outdoors.

@pointybird: My nieces and nephews always wore the 3-1 jackets from The Children's Place. LOVE them! And will likely pick one up for M at the end of this season for next season. I've heard from the ladies that The Lands End ones are good as well.

If you are going to be spending time outside in the cold weather, a hat and bunting (snowsuit type thing with covered hands and feet) will really keep your LO warm. You can find cute hats anywhere, from basic to wild. Look for one with velcro or a tie in case your LO decides they don't want to wear a hat, that way it stays on. Even if the bunting has a hood, we always put the hat on under so DS's head and ears didn't get cold.

Fleece is a great choice because it is warm without being too bulky. Down and other materials that compress easily aren't safe to use in carseats. Fleece, as long as it's not too big or baggy on your LO, is okay to wear in a carseat because it won't compress. (It makes it harder to get the straps tight, and in a car accident the material will compress, possibly ejecting your LO from the seat! This is true for toddlers in winter coats too.)

If they are still in an infant seat, a carseat cover (fits like a shower cap, not the one that goes in the seat under baby) is a great option to keep your LO warm in and out of the car, or if you have a travel system and are out and about with the stroller. I love basic long sleeve onesies for warmth under a long sleeve shirt or sweater. And I love these Old Navy socks. They are thick and warm, but they also stay one better than any sock I tried when DS was younger. They make new designs in the same style every season.
