We don't have it as bad as you but I'm still totally over it. C has HFM right before the baby was born, which was awesome. Mostly it's just colds that get better and worse but never seem to go away. Now she has an ear infection adding to her crankiness and I have caught her cold. Bleh.

Not as bad but we're on day five of RSV. I'm so glad it's Feb and the end of winter is in sight.

You've had a bad run!
My kids have had a cold since Halloween. Literally. And this month, it's been...week of 103-104 virus, better for a week, then diahhrea for a week....better for a week....then puking and diahhrea bug. All for my youngest. My older has gotten colds and had a fever but no stomach stuff yet thank god.

@Corduroy: hahah we live in New England so I feel like we are in virus territory until May!!

Yes! We had a stomach flu before Christmas, then RSV before New Year, then a stomach flu two weeks ago, and now another nasty upper respiratory something that has made her not sleep for like 3 days. Blah.

My husband and I got strep last week while my inlaws were here. My FIL had an untreated ear infection and an upper respiratory thing when they arrived. It's trickled down to the kids. DS #1 has a croupy cough. DS #2 has had pinkeye and now as a bad cough and fever. It's been constant for our family lately.

Wow I'd honestly be flipping out. I'm already about done.
Dd had a one day fever/virus thing, then a week or two later croup, and now has been diagnosed with both pink eye and pneumonia. I think the pink eye thing is bs though. Ds I can't tell if he's coming down with something or not. Dh had some kind of cold/cough thing about a week ago and yesterday came home from work with a fever, so it's me and the kids most of the day today (eta- today is supposed to be his off day, he doesn't work m-f). I'm so over it.
@Corduroy: It's Feb but it's an el nino year.. so rainy and sick season is here to stay for awhile longer.

Yes, I am totally over it. LO has been plagued with one thing after another, with no more than a week or so in between illnesses. I was worried about putting him in daycare for fear of getting sick all the time but even not being in daycare/school, he's still sick more than he's not! I'm done. I hope it's better in the spring/summer.

DS was at home with grandmacare for the first 16 months of his life, but then grandma quit abruptly around the holidays, so we had to start him in daycare at the height of cold and flu season...right when DH and I have our busiest periods at work. He's been sick for 5 weeks straight (4 separate viruses and counting) and he got both DH and I HORRIBLY sick this last time. And he got his canines and bicuspids ALL AT ONCE during this same period. I am so. freaking. over. daycare. plagues.

Ohh yeah I feel ya. DD gets sick with something, is well for like 3-4 days, then gets sick again! We've had ear infection, diarrhea/horrible rash, fever, virus, now cold... Oyy!

YES. My daughter started daycare a month ago for just one day a week so I could go back to work PT. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but she had a fever/virus for a week, just two weeks ago. My husband and I both got colds after that. Then I got an email that kids at daycare were sent home with croup and RSV. Yesterday at 3am she had a fever of almost 104 and has terrible congestion now. It's so draining!

January was ROUGH. J had a mild cough for a few weeks and by the weekend he was just DONE. I was begging for a babysitter to come watch sleeping J so I could get groceries, every weekend like a charm he was out of commission.
Finally a week ago he got conjunctivitis and was prescribed an antibiotic (first time since birth
). He's doing much much better!

@BandDmommy: it has been brutal! Ds still has a really bad cough that is lingering. DD had a fever all night and is sleeping now, but poor baby can't stop coughing. Ugh! Winter I'm done with you!

ughh January was the WORST.
-DS first got a GI bug and was vomiting everywhere.
-Then DD for HFM from daycare.
-Then DH got the GI bug.
-Then DD got the GI bug.
-Then DH got a raging case of HFM.
Everyone is better now and somehow I managed to avoid it all but I had to use up a ton of sick time/work from home and I went through almost 2 bottles of bleach trying to sanitize everything and all the bedding.

We've been so lucky so far this year! Nothing more than the sniffles. But there's still a lot of winter left so I'm anticipating something more still.
