What do you do when the winter weather makes your scalp really dry? I feel like I'm one scratch away from drawing blood, but it's just so itchy! I only air dry a few times a week and condition every time I wash my hair. I just coated my head with coconut oil in an attempt to help.

What about switching to a cleansing conditioner (like Wen or L'Oreal)?
ETA: Coconut oil can be drying, too!

Head and Shoulders has a dry scalp and an itchy scalp formula. I've used one (can't remember which one though!) with success during the winter when I needed it. Washing your hair with cool water helps a lot, but of course a cold shower sucks in the winter!

I had super dry scalp during pregnancy. Before I get in the shower I pump argan oil on it and brush it through and all over my scalp. Give it 30 minutes if you have the time otherwise just wash like normal.
