Miss P has her second ever diaper rash that we are battling. It had cleared up using coconut oil, but then I switched to birts bees diaper cream and it came back with a vengance. Her wipes are making it redder and more angry, so I am going to stop using them until she clears up, but I am unsure of what to use in place. Paper towel (maybe viva brand since they are really soft and thick) and water? I am open to suggestions since she's now at the stage where her bum is so raw that the wipe (or alchohol in it) is making her bleed:(
we use Target brand sensitive wipes (my child will get a diaper rash if you look at him funny) and CJ's BUTTer as a barrier cream and it keeps almost all rashes away.
I don't think it's yeast because it's not raw patches, just gets bright red after I use the wipe on it and has almost like tiny pin sized blood spots. My skin is really sensitive and I think hers just is, too. Looks like she'll be running free in the kitchen tomorrow, since every room but the bathroom has carpet!
