I keep forgetting to move my wallet from our shared diaper bag to my purse for work days. I wish I hadn't forgotten it today because I'm soooo exhausted at work and want to go buy a cup of coffee! Ugh!

I used to do that.....but I'd also leave my phone and/or meds and medical supplies. After that I just got a small purse that I can throw in the diaper bag, but DH knows to look for it and take it out before take the diaper bag.

We are sharing this teeny tiny little backpack as a diaper bag, so I can literally only shove my wallet into it. I carry my phone, keys and water bottle by hand! We got a big diaper bag off our registry but DH didn't like it. So annoying.
Emergency coffee fund is a good idea!

Wow if I were you I'd get a separate purse so I didn't have to carry all of that stuff in your hand. I like having my hands free in case I need to pick up LO.

@artbee: I'm in bad need of a new purse. I'm a terrible woman ... I detest purse shopping. My current purse/work bag is just a ugly $10 from Target bag. I hate it and it's a little too big to carry while carrying the diaper 'bag'

I had a few dollars and change in my drawer all the time, because i'd lock my purse up in the lounge area with my coat and keys. I hated walking all the way to the employee lockers to get my stuff, when the coffee kiosk was just outside our office.
