i had an early morning meeting and DS was still asleep before I left for work... 
didn't get to see him, so i'm glued to my phone watching for my mom to send me pics all day.
thank god im remote the next two days! missing him hard today.

yes. He is usually asleep every morning when I leave.
But monday & tuesday he woke up at 6 am so I got to spend some time with him but this morning he stayed asleep. And now I'm really missing him.

Every.Single.Day!!! It's especially difficult when she sees me leave and starts crying for me and saying *mama mama mama mama*.

Honestly, no. I know that makes me sound like a terrible person, but I know he's having a super fun time where he is and he's well cared for. Kid doesn't even acknowledge me when I come to pick him up, but I know this too shall pass!
I am usually too busy to even have time to miss him.

Of course. And now that he is older, he manages to pull at my heartstrings every afternoon when he runs in the house and tells me he missed me. Every. Single. Day. Makes me tear up a little.

I miss him but I know he is having a lot of fun. He has started running towards his teacher in the morning and leaving mommy in the dust.

In the general sense, all day. Every day.
In the real-time sense, no. I know she's having so much fun and she loves daycare. I tend to be able to stay in my work mindset until I get distracted and start thinking of her or looking at photos... then I miss her HARD. -
Every single day, 5 days a week, 10 hours a day.
ETA: And we don't get pictures emailed to us or have a camera to watch her on.

Yes.
We just got done with a month of vacations, and it was sooo nice to spend so much time with her! It made it really hard to have to come back to work and give her up again -
Every single day. I can't wait till it is 430 and I can leave so I can go pick her up.

ALL the time, yes! I'm not cut out to be a stay-at-home mom but I would love working part-time...it's just not in the cards for us right now though. Maybe in the future!

he's almost two -
I miss HIM, but I know he doesn't miss me, haha. He gets all pouty when I pick him up from daycare. He LOVES daycare. Oh well!
And besides nursing him in the morning and putting him back to bed, I don't really see him in the morning either because Hubs handles daycare drop-off.

i think about him and am so excited at the end of the day when i pick him up from daycare, but i'm not sure i "miss" him. i would love it if we got more time together (i have a long commute and it cuts into my QT with him), though!

Most of the day I'm so busy that I don't have time to really focus on it and get upset about it. But when I do have a break I always wonder what she's up to. She loves her teachers so I know she's happy all day and the gives me comfort. But you better believe when it's quitting time I essentially run to the parking garage so I can get to school and squeeze her as quickly as possible.
