In my small office of 10 people, three ladies went had babies last March, and three of the guys' wives had babies in August. It's nice having so many parents in the same stage so we can swap stories and everyone is very understanding when one of us comes in extra tired. What is your work environment like? Is it family friendly?

Wow! No, I have one coworker who's wife is pregnant but all the women at work are older.

Yes. Two women in my office have kids the same age as DS. It's invaluable when we're panicking about some kind of sickness!

Not really. My boss is an older gentleman who's kids are my age or older. The department we sit next to all have kids that are in elementary school. We're expecting our first one, and my boss has been very accommodating about my dr appointments and what not!

In my direct office, no. There's some parents of older kids but I'm the only one with a baby. In my department there were actually 5 babies born last summer though, but they are all at other offices.

There is one other woman who has a young child as well. But the partners are very understanding about being flexible.

All the women i work with are older, so they can only relate because their daughters have babies LO's age. But it is still family friendly, and everyone up to my VP are very supportive.
Half of DH's colleagues have toddlers/babies, so everyone is pretty understanding.

I wish! I'm the only pregnant lady in the whole library (big library, over 200 ppl), and although my co-workers are all around my age, I'm one of only a handful that owns a house or has/will have kids. I wish I had more people to talk to, but they are definitely family friendly anyways!

Yes, but I work with all men. My office is small - only 7 full time employees. Our boss is a little older, married with kids in high school. Three guys are married with little kids/babies (one guy's wife is expecting), two are engaged, and then there's me who is married with no kids. There are two part-time older men who are semi-retired grandparents.
It's really interesting to hear their perspective on things!

No. Everyone is shocked that I am under 30. Most everyone is over 40 or at least 35.

before my company merged with another company, there were less than 40 of us, and i was one of the youngest ones. most of the ladies i worked with have kids my age, or close to my age.

Everyone in my office is 40+ and male, with the exception of my female boss (40+) and a 30y/o self proclaimed bachelor-for-life.

Nope. Everyone is either done with that stage or before that stage. Ugh. They don't really understand the issues I have (like losing childcare)

I have a pretty big office with lots of parents. In my specific department, there's one other woman with a baby (her son is eight months, I think) and she's been a great resource for me - she's given me extra diapers and breast pads, guided me through the HR process for maternity leave and just been there to talk about parenting issues.
There's another woman in my department who I am 95% sure is preggo, but she hasn't announced yet. I sit behind her and can see her computer screen, and she is on Hellobee all the time! Plus she's always sitting at her desk with a shawl wrapped around her. I am such a super snoop.

My department only has 4 people, the guy my age and his wife have no kids and the other ladies have kids my age. They're really accommodating though!
