I see a lot of 6pm bedtimes and I'm jealous! If you and SO get home at or after 6, do you immediately try to start bedtime? what is your routine? Do you keep it the same on weekends?

I get home anywhere from 6-7 -- usually 6:30. My husband picks up our son at 6. We play for a while, and do a bath every couple of days, then start reading books around 7:15 or 7:30 depending on how tired LO is -- we aim for sleep between 7:30 and 8:00.

We get home at 615/630 (gets her last bottle at daycare around 530)
Baby plays or naps until about 7/730
I nurse, give her a bath, lotion, quiet playtime, book, PJs, paci, rock her a few minutes, put her down to sleep around 830PM (wakes up in the morning at 630 AM)
On weekends, I keep her up later, so she hopefully sleeps in later Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I get home anywhere from 5-6... if I have work that goes past that I come home by 6 so I make it in time for LO's bedtime routine and work later.
I play with LO for as long as I can and his bath starts at 630, latest by 7. lotion, massage, sleeper, (sometimes book), nurse, (sometimes clip nails), burp/snuggle, and lay down and LO is asleep by 730, latest by 8.

We don't have a LO yet but there's no way a 7 or 7:30 bedtime will work for either of us! We're definitely going to aim for a later schedule, if possible.

I try to leave work by 4:45-5pm to pick him up 6pm. We go into bedtime mode once LO is home. By 6:45pm, LO is tired and ready for bed.

We both work, but get home before 5pm. So we have a 6:30-7:00 bedtime. So it goes
5 - nurse
5:15 - play, diaper change
5:45 - eat "dinner" aka play with solid food
6 - clean up
6:15 - nurse
6:30 - bath time
6:45 - jammies & book
he's asleep always by 7 and sometimes 6:30 if we start the routine earlier. However, we go to sleep at 9pm and then LO wakes up around 5:30-6am (which is good for us, because we're all out the door by 7am). I can imagine being annoyed if LO was awake by 6am and we didn't have to get up for the day until later!
