So sad.

OMG!! That is horrible.

I saw a little bit about this on the news last night, but there were no details. This story breaks my heart. The untreated postpartum depression, the fact that she and her husband had a big argument beforehand - just so, so tragic. I can't imagine what her husband is going through, given that they were arguing before her death.

Ugh, how horrible.

How incredibly tragic! I feel so bad for her & her family. Suicide is just one of those things that really pulls at my heart... she must of felt so helpless. I hope he's able to forgive himself for the fight and realize there was so much more that she was struggling with, especially considering she felt there was something wrong with the baby when doctors said he was fine. UGH! So sad. ='(

How sad. I'm glad that the baby was fine. PPD can be so tragic....

Wow, it's one thing to try and kill yourself, but why did she think the baby should go with her?

Ugh, this is just so sad and tragic. And I knew I shouldn't read the comments, some of the things people wrote there make me lose faith in the human race.

That is incredibly tragic. What a miracle that the baby survived. It just proves how real PPD is and how important it is to speak up and get help.

This is so terribly sad. There was a similar case locally a couple of months ago, but the mother shot her 4 month old, then herself. I'm still dealing with postpartum depression, but to be in this kind of place must be so dark. What a miracle the baby is still alive!
