Who's going? I thought for sure there would be a thread about this but I couldn't find it! We are going to local one (me and my 2yo). Just trying to figure out logistics! ( stroller hater, etc). In case anyone is from the sf Bay Area and going to the Oakland march , wall me!

We (me, DH and LO) are going to one in our city. I really wanted to go to the one in DC, but the flights are just too $$$ at this point.
@lamariniere: I didn't know there were marches planned internationally. That's awesome!

I'm going to the NYC march with some friends. I wanted to take our kids, but my husband doesn't want me to...he's worried about the crowds and stuff, so he wants to stay home with them.

We are going to go to the March in Chicago but of course DS is sick. Hopefully he will be better by Saturday! If we do go, I'm definietly wearing him! No way I'm pushing a stroller in the crowds and I feel safer with him on me.

Dh is definitely going to our local/NYC one! I'm torn though--I'll be almost 38 weeks pregnant and it just seems like a lot. Plus there are the logistics of our toddler: I'm not sure we'd want to bring her anyway, plus can't bring a stroller-- we have a toddler Tula but dh would have to wear her and she will def fuss in it. we had her in it on election night at the Clinton event at the Javits center but left after we got funneled to an outdoor offshoot party, so it was only like 2 hours and she was def antsy about being in it... and will def want me to carry her but again, 38 weeks preggo....
Eta lo's school is part of a group organizing a kids "march for kindness"-- def taking her to that!

@lamariniere: Thank you! It didn't even occur to me to look internationally. There's an event in Brussels tomorrow. I'm going to try to attend.

I'd like to go to our local event, but I'm not sure about the logistics of taking a toddler and my three month old, needing to babywear both since we can't bring strollers, having to negotiate the bus system (terrible) and trying to feed/water/breastfeed the kids. Even if I don't go, I'm wearing my hat all day to show support.

i'm so impressed with those of you who are traveling! i live in dc area, but do not have plans to go. i am with you all in spirit, but i am also one crowd-fearing lazy mofo. thank you to all who are going and representing!

I'm not taking LO. It'll probably be raining and I don't want to have to deal with finding him bathrooms etc. I would love for him to experience it but I'm not sure it would. Rnoostive for either of us this time around. I have a feeling there will be more opportunities soon

I'm going to DC! kids are staying at home with my husband. evidently our rally buses are having a bit of trouble finding a departure lot big enough..

Going to Boston with my sister and her two older girls. My DH is watching our LO and my sister's littlest one while we're there. I initially said I was going to go to DC and I kind of lost my enthusiasm for it/couldn't handle the trip down and back in 3 days, so Boston instead. I am hoping it kind of inspires me because lately I'm just feeling downtrodden and hopeless about what is to come!

I am not going, but I was just reading that a town close by is offering free rides to either NYC or wherever the most local march is, which is nice!

@Freckles: I am gonna bring my 2 yo but from the thread it looks like strollers aren't allowed? I need to think it over logistically. I wish I could wear him in the Tula but I always injure my shoulder.

My parents and one sister are traveling to match in DC. I wish I could swing that but don't want to drive with the kids.@Freckles: I'm bringing my girls.

I would like to, but I am 40+3 today. I don't think I can handle the march here in DC. I will be with all of you in spirit.

I'll be marching in Atlanta with a friend. Not bringing DS - it is supposed to rain/storm and it starts at nap time - so DH will stay home with him.

I was planning to go to Boston, but I've been sick with a serious pneumonia for weeks so on doctors orders I'm staying home..I'm so disappointed!

I made other plans for this weekend before learning about the marches, but I do wish I could attend our local march.
