So I really think I have trypophobia or whatever its called. I was thinking about it and I remember thinking the plant diagrams in science textbooks were sooo gross and they gave me the heebie geebies. I told DH about this thread earlier and he just now took my phone and said "no, that would be too mean." I said "what?!" And he showed me some picture of a cluster and it really bothered me, yuuuuuuck. So weird!!

One of my sisters hates the words: doughnut, gum, ointement...There are some others, but if you want to send her over the edge, you just say, "I ate doughnuts for breakfast and chewed gum while putting on ointement." We are so mean to each other.

I hate the word "panties." It just sounds like something a dirty old man says. Not a woman. It gives me the chills.
I also hate the word "earwig," but I think it's because I hate the thought of a bug in my ear. Just hearing the word (and now typing it) gives me serious heebies.

kinda off-topic but my coworker has a list of words she gets embarrassed to hear or say. like, when we go for sushi she always blushes when ordering a "handroll."

So I am totally creeped out by geometrical patterns in organic things... honeycomb in particular. I had a dream once that I had some peeling skin on my arm... I peeled it back and underneath there was raw flesh (but not bleeding) and there was a pattern-- like the raised circles you see on the floor in the subway. EWWWWWWW!!! Yes so geometrically patterned rashes in the skin REALLY creep me out.
There is no way in heaven or hell I will ever, ever, ever click that link.

I hate ointment and any word that ends in double Z, especially as in, "let's jazz this place up" or "let's just buzz in there real quick".
I cannot express the passion with which I feel this!

@Rubies: @chopsuey119: haha I know... every time I picture what I saw in the dream I want to throw up and tear my hair out.
@Rubies: your reactions to this thread seriously made me LOL a bunch of times last night. Pretty much because I'm having the same reactions. Rob Sr. is addicted to reddit and there's this term on there... they've turned the word "nope" into a verb. Usage: "I went into the bathroom and there was a huge brown spider in the corner, so I nope'd the f**k outta there." Also, this image: http://cdn.gs.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/nope-cat-02.jpg
I couldn't stop picturing you nope'ing out of any cluster situation!!!

@marriedandlovingit: YES YES YES. Both of those words skeeve me out!! Call them undies, underwear or underroos but please, don't call them panties.
Also, moist - I picked that one up from watching Dead Like Me.

@mrs. wagon: I just threw up a little in my mouth.

@mediagirl: ahhhhhhh!!! If I really wanted to continue grossing everyone out I'd find an image of the subway floor texture I was talking about... but I will not. Mostly because I will probably throw up a little in my own mouth too.
