haha, yes that would annoy me too! I guess they just want to be anonymous when doing their business, huh?

Ha, definitely annoying! And a little strange - if they all do it, don't they run just as much risk of whatever embarrassing behavior they're trying to hide being discovered on your floor by their coworkers?

That's super weird, especially that they do it as a group. I had a roommate in college that would do that with her best friend (go to the communal bathroom so they could talk to each other while they went) and I even thought that was really weird.

But.... I have to admit that when I worked on the 2nd floor, I did occasionally go down to the 1st floor for the bathroom, since far fewer people worked on the floor, so it would be much more likely that the bathroom would be empty.

Bathroom time is private time, going in a group is gross. Sounds like you and your coworkers need to go up to the 6th floor to give them a taste of their own medicine?

Not that they go up to another floor, but the group thing is weird. Also? Take the stairs for one flight, lazy bums! I frequently go to another floor (albeit a relatively empty floor) to use the restroom, though. I like privacy and I have GI issues. I don't like that the bathroom on my floor sits SO CLOSE to people I know/work with. Too close!!!!

The company cleans them all every night, so I don't thing it's a big deal

Are they actually going #2 or just gossiping? I would only go in a group if I'm talking (or doing blow... j/k), not actually taking care of business.

I used to go on another floor of our building (but it was an empty floor with no tenants... and it was a little creepy).

That would be so annoying to me!
