I have two weddings this summer, one at the end of May and another at the end of July.
I bought a really cute dress off Asos and it's a smidge big in the top. I'm guessing I need about 3" taken in at the bust and the wait is kind of big on me too.
But, I'm only 16w pregnant. I'll be close to and in the third tri for both weddings.
Would you have the dress taken in? If so, when? ;I'm worried it will fit for May but be too small for July!

I would wait another month or so to decide, I really popped out at 23 weeks so you might wait & see if that happens. I would hate to have it altered and then not be able to wear it!

I agree with @LuLu Mom, I'd wait a bit. Is it something you could belt for the earlier wedding?

@fussygal: good idea but no, a belt wouldn't work.
I'm going to call a seamstress & see what they recommend and get an ETA on the job. With prom season I might be in a crunch!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: maybe they can install some claps or buttons that can be released for when you pop? Or can the back be turned into a corset style? Even half way so you can just do up the top as tight or loose as you need.

I would wait until even before two weeks before. And ask them to NOT cut anything off so you can always let it out before the second wedding.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I can't see the dress, but is it possible for the alternations person to add a clasp like the kind we have on bras?
That way you have a good 2.4inches to take it in and let it out?
Personally---I grew my bigger, pregnancy breasts ONLY in my first trimester and then again after my milk came in.

This is the dress!
I think I could get away without having the waist taken in. It's a loose and flowy dress. My mom didn't really notice it was big until I pointed it out!
The straps need shortened for sure, though!

Oh yeah you could get away without taking it in. Just shorten the straps 
for my wedding my SIL was pregnant and the seamstress put in these little snap things that she could change the sizing of her dress depending on how much room she needed. Maybe it was something that that seamstress came up with personally but it was the neatest thing! The dress was more structured though. You have a pretty dress!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I had a very similar dress from ASOS when I was pregnant and had the same issues with the chest. I found it constantly flashed my bra and I was always pulling it up. I'd have the alterations done.
