Say.. at 37 weeks?
DH wants to circumcise, but I'm at 3cm and 75% already (36 weeks 4 days today). Don't feel comfortable circumcising such a young babe!

Since 37 weeks is considered full term I would. But if he was born before that? Probably not. DS was born at 38 weeks and we had him circumcised.

I don't understand why not? Couldn't you just go back in a few weeks? I have done literally NO research on this, so it's not a snarky question, I just don't know what the extra risks or concerns are. It seems like a lifelong decision to make based on a week of gestation.
My nephew went back to the ped and was circumsized a week or so after he was born, so maybe you mean right away in the hospital?

My son was 36 weeks and we circ'd. So I voted yes!

Yes, I would still circumcise, even if the baby was early.
Also, I hope you have your baby soon! I was 3 cms with DS for about 3 weeks, and it was killer. I couldn't wait to get that kid out of me, lol!

Yes, I would unless there was a medical reason not to do it. 37 weeks is full term.

My son was born at 25 weeks...he won't be circumcised until he's about to go home...so basically at term. They will wait if it's not right for the baby.

At 37 weeks, I would do it, but like @Mrs Green Grass: said, depending on when our guys are born, we may need to wait until they are closer to coming home.
