According to 30 Rock, renewing your vows can be a sign of deeper problems in a relationship... and a sign of a pending divorce!

I was going to reply emphatically with a yes, but after seeing that list, I feel like I shouldn't. haha 
Seriously though, we got married at the court house. We never got to have a big wedding and I want that. One day, we will renew our vows with a huge celebration. Maybe for our 5 year anniversary.

Yes. My great grandma and greatgrandpa did it for their 50th anniversary, and my grandma turned the invitation into a plaque--the invite has a photo from their wedding on it.
I don't even know how the party was, but I would definitely do a 50 year anniversary vow renewal.
What do celebrities know about my life anyway? Aren't they usually "on the rocks" in their relationships regardless of vow renewing?
Also, I guess we sort of already did? We got married legally about 7 months before we got married religiously (largely due to FIL not wanting us to move in together when we relocated cross country).

No. The wedding was so stressful for me, I hate being center of attention. Maybe we'll go over our vows together one day, but with nobody else around.

Probably not, but we do want to have a big party for our anniversary at some point. It would be amazing to get all our friends together in one place again!

We would take a big vacation for a big anniversary, like a second honeymoon for 10 or 20 years or something, and I wouldn't mind having a private vow renewal then. But no, I wouldn't have a big vow renewal party or anything. Anniversary parties, sure.

maybe, we have talked about trips for our big anniversary's, if we renewed it would be just the two of us not a big flashy deal. I don't think I need to though (although I do love an excuse to get a new dress ha!)

I'd like to take a trip to some fabulous place we both want to visit and renew there for our 10 year. But DH and I sort of renew our vows every year. We wrote our entire ceremony together and have super personal vows/promises--we read our vows to each other on our anniversary, just the two of us.

I've always wanted to just because I loved planning our wedding and thought it'd be fun to do all over again. How's that for a super lame excuse? 
My grandparents did a vow renewal ceremony for their 50th anniversary. My parents did a surprise mini one at 25 years. My brothers and I planned a big dinner for family and friends and my grandma threw a surprise vow renewal ceremony in the mix (we have a bunch of pastors in the family)!

Hmm...I would have said maybe but the track record of that list isn't very encouraging. Perhaps we'll just do a big anniversary trip during one of the milestone anniversaries and just spend that time together to privately reaffirm and reflect on our relationship.

I've been saying for a few years that I would absolutely love to renew our vows. When we got married Wagon Sr. was so overwhelmed and we were so young, our vows were practically just words. For our 10 or 15 year anniversary, I'd love to take our family and closest friends (maybe a group of 10-15 of us) on a cruise or vacation, during which Wagon Sr. and I would renew our vows with just the two of us and our pastor.
That list is definitely not encouraging... but the same could be said for Hollywood weddings... heehee.
