Yes, but I don't think it necessarily has to be all pro shoots.
pear / 1998 posts
Yes, but not a ton. I like how realistic the blog is and I love when bloggers write about their own photo-shoots. I think posts from professional photogs would be good, but only sporadically.

Some would be nice. But like @loveisstrange: said, I would like them to not all be pro. So it gives us ideas on how we can do it ourselves.

Sporadically. I like posts about every day life.

@TemperanceBrennan: +1. I like these but some of the professional shoots are so way over the top and so themed out its totally unrealistic for a lot of people.
I really like moms sharing their own photo tutorials or even pros sharing natural poses, settings etc that could be recreated or at least purchased from a basic local photographer.
wonderful pea / 17279 posts
Not really. I visit a couple other blogs that have photo shoots and those posts are the most boring. At least with HB there are several posts a day.
wonderful cherry / 21504 posts
Yes, but like others said, not all the time, and I'd like a mix-- some pro, some over the top with props and some super natural and casual, some mom did it at home while baby slept... Also, let's be real-- some fails are fun too

Would it be possible for the pros to give tips on how we can do it ourselves? Maybe not a full step by step but helpful advice to get the same effect on your own?
cantaloupe / 6751 posts
Not really. I would rather see posts with photography tips. The posts about photo editing apps were very helpful
coconut / 8861 posts
I'm so so on this. Photoshoots are nice, but tips are a lot more useful. If you were to do photoshoot posts, would you be promoting a certain professional photographer? I'd love a post or two of highly recommended professional kid/family photographers by regions or cities.
cantaloupe / 6630 posts
Not really, unless they were structured in a way that helped you recreate it yourself with tips etc. More of a 'how to' than a 'look at these amazing pictures'
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
I would if it gave tips on how to replicate the photos or what props they used and from where along with outfits, etc. I know a lot of us want to replicate, but are always missing some element that gives it that pizazz effect.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
I know I'ma blogger - but I've always loved the photoshoot posts. It gives me pose ideas, outfits inspiration - and I just enjoy looking at pretty pictures. Plus it's nice to see the families of the bloggers
pomegranate / 3983 posts
Honestly, no. I tend to avoid blogs with pro pictures as they don't have added value to *me* other than invoking the green monster.
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
Yes, yes, yes.
ETA: I would love it even more if they gave tips on how to take good photos at home, set up home photo shoots, etc. I love the inspiration for our professional photo shoots, but I also would like things that help me take better pictures on my own, too.

@Mrs. Bee:
More info please
Of who?
HB babies/kids? strangers?
Local photogs just showing what they offer? Will they offer discounts to HBers?
Professional photo shoots that we can recreate at home?
pomegranate / 3113 posts
I prefer tutorials, but I wouldn't mind seeing photo shoots as long as it's not more than maybe once a week or once every other week. Actually, it would be nice if you could set them up to go live on a weekend day so there's something new to look at on the blog (along with the weekly recap) but it doesn't interfere with the regular bloggers' posts.
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
Not really to be honest. I have photographers I Love and I check out their blogs if I want to see pro photos. But i love seeing blogger's pro photo results!
pomegranate / 3779 posts
I'm with @PurplePeony: - yes, but limited quantity and going live on weekends would be nice. I'd also like to see tips on how to get similar shots and have both pro and mom-with-a-camera.

@Mamaof2: good questions!
I'd like to see 'real bees' or the work of our community! Rather than 'strangers'.
