Heck yeah. If money was no object I'd hire 'em all, and just use them as I pleased, lol!
The importance of each depends on you though. In the beginning (6-9 weeks old) mil hired me a nanny because I just needed a break and was suffering from horrible anxiety. Sans anxiety a nanny once a week or so would have been nice.
A housekeeper is really good too because it can be hard to keep up with while recovering from l&d.

@Freckles: I guess I can't imagine having any family members clean my house (either asking them or letting them!)...childcare yes, housekeeper no!

@hilsy85: Everyone's support system is different, but in the absence of one, a housekeeper/nanny/cleaner combo would be helpful to keep your sanity. I guess that's what i meant. You're right, i would never think of asking my parents to clean my house, but i may ask them to look after LO for a few hours so i can clean the house or run errands!

@Freckles: Our housekeeper does everything except laundry. Both DH and I work a lot so we have always had a housekeeper.
