An opportunity came up in Australia, and we're thinking about heading out there for a month next March!
I'm hoping it works out!!! I've been dying to go to Australia! I want to hold a Koala!

Oh fun! Love australia. We went there for our honeymoon and 1 other time after that. Koala's are so cute. They smell like a spa with all the eucalyptus they eat.

OMG DH and I were just talking last night about spending a month in Australia next year and my only request was to hold a koala! According to my SIL (she lives in Sydney) a lot of the Australian states don't allow koala holding.
I think you should totally go!

I spent a month in Australia. It literally took me half that time to get used to the time change and it wasn't very fun for me, its hard on me with my migraines when my sleep is off. So with a baby..... I don't think id want to do it. Hopefully it'll be easier for you though.

YES! My husband has a project in Australia and we're hoping he needs to travel there so Lucas and I can tag along. It's not likely, but here's to hoping.

Definitely, I'd be on that plane so fast! Where abouts in Aus would you be? I spent a month travelling around Australia a few years ago, and cuddled a koala in Brisbane, theyre so cute!

I would love to move for a month or several months!!! I love where we live, but I also love the idea of living somewhere foreign temporarily. I'm not crazy about living somewhere else permanently tho!

Yes. We're already expats so going to another country for a month wouldn't be such a big deal.

How fun!! You could hop to New Zealand too. I used to only like three day trips but I went on a trip recently for ten days and wished it lasted a month.

That's awesome! I'd totally do something like that. I spent about six weeks living in Morocco a few years ago and it was so cool because it was kind of a vacation but better because you actually have time to get used to/explore the place.

Yes! Would totally do it since it's somewhere i'd love to go one of these days. My husband worked in Hawaii for 5 months when we were engaged so I tagged along for 2 of those months and it was so much fun. We went everywhere. Although with two LOs now I'm sure it would be a totally different kind of fun.
