I have not & don't think it's something I would do, but quite a few women wore them to my wedding & looked totally appropriate.

I never have, but I'm sure there are circumstances under which I would. I also like dresses though and enjoy the occasions to get dressed up!

My SIL wore a smart pantsuit and fancy hat to our wedding, and walked down the aisle in it! (We opted to have our immediate family in our wedding party instead of bridesmaids and groomsmen.)
She's French, so it was normal for her. She totally rocked the look, and I was 100% okay with it.

No, only because I find dresses to be more comfortable!
A friend of mine wore an outfit that might translate to pants well... a black short pencil skirt, an ivory silk shell and a statement pearl/rhinestone necklace and earrings, and really cute peep-toe patent leather heels. So since she dressed it up it really looked good!
I think you could totally pull off a similar outfit with long black pants, as long as they are dressy enough!

I have and had friends who wore pants to our wedding. I didn't think anything of it. I typically wear dress pants during the cold/rainy season for special events. What's the big deal?
