Have the return of AF or continue with night feedings?

I was talking with my sister yesterday. Her son just turned 1, and my son is 6.5 months. Because of our intentional sleep training, Cobi can now sleep all night in his crib. We haven't co-slept in 2.5 months, he has pulled three 11.5 hour stretches recently and otherwise only wakes once to eat. I would say his sleep has finally reached the point where I am happy, and he is well-rested.

Her son, however, has never been sleep trained and she has no interest in it (which is perfectly fine obviously!). He sleeps until about 2-3am in his crib (goes down around 9pm) and then joins them in their bed where she nurses him back to sleep. He often will wake up for another feeding. He has never slept ALL NIGHT in his crib, save for maybe once... in his whole year of life. I was shocked.

My sister commented that because I have Cobi STTN, AF may return pretty soon. I said I would MUCH rather deal with AF than multiple feedings/night wakings. She was astounded, she said he doesn't mind the wakings/feedings, she doesn't want to deal with AF.

Which is more important to you?
