Baseball game, yes. NFL game, no. I love football, but drunken idiots get on my nerves when I'm alone. If I had LO, I'd be so annoyed/pissed/worried I don't think I'd have a good time. People get too rowdy!

My husband wants to do this soon.... As in, this season when our daughter will be 3 months. He wants to take her to the giants/Vikings game and has already ordered her a Vikings onesie. I'll let you know how it turns out. Could be a nightmare, but could be fine.

I think baseball yes football no. Just to noisy and not baby friendly.

I probably wouldn't. I definitely wouldn't do it unless you and your husband (or whoever you go with) are 100% totally ok with leaving the game early. If leaving early would be a bummer, then I wouldn't do it. That's a long time for a baby to behave themselves. Depending on where you live, it might be too cold? All the Pats games I've been to, I froze my behind off! Even with coat and blankets!

No way. There's too high of a chance we'd have to leave early and the tickets are too expensive to risk that. Plus it's too loud and crowded. My baby is a mess when he's overstimulated like that.

Yeah, we've taken him to all of the major sports- baseball, basketball, hockey, and football. Basketball was the biggest challenge, it is such a super small seating area and he was extremely squirmy at 10 months (but EVERYTHING was a challenge for us at 10 months!). Hockey was C's favorite, he was enthralled by the fast action!

We really aren't into tailgating, so we weren't there for more than the actual game. We got good seats, so it wasn't around the drunken masses as it can be in the nosebleeds. Plus our team doesn't quite have as many passionate fans as others do, so it wasn't really a bad environment to be in with an almost 12 month old.

I'm sorry...it has to be said. HELL NO.

We were season holders for a few years and I would never bring a child to a NFL game much less an infant. It's just no place for a child even on Kid's Day.

@septemberlove: haha we are in a HUGE sports town and people get very rowdy at games. And oh no, not a bad experience, we LOVED our seasons and tailgated at the crack of dawn at every single game. Think our winter games freeze the Pats bums off. But from what I've seen and hear about other teams with hardcore fans it's no place for a child, IMO.

DH and I both agree we won't take our kids to a NFL game till they are at least a preteen.

Sports will definitely be a big part of our kid's childhoods. Sunday during football season is Football Sunday so they will def get to enjoy football Sunday. At home. DH literally plans his day around being done with all household chores at 12:00pm sharp. haha

I don't do sports, but DH likes one NFL team so he tries to go to a game a season..even he said "heck no!" because last time we went I left covered in beer that people were throwing around. This year for the game DH is going to, he's taking his dad instead of me because we agree that LO shouldn't go to a game.

i think bringing LO to a football game would be fun, but only the actual game part--i don't want to deal with traffic, crowds, changing diapers in god knows what kind of conditions, etc. so i guess my realistic answer is no.

I don't think M would like it at 10 months and the tickets are SO expensive that I wouldn't waste it being stressed about handling the crying, etc. I'll be looking forward to going when she's older!
