I really want to take LO she loves all the frozen characters. I wonder if she is too young? Also I have a silly question will it be cold and what would be the best way to dress for a show on ice?
Thanks!

I would take my daughter but I don't think it is touring near us!

I think Im going to take C in February when it comes here! She'll be 1.5 months shy of 3. I think she'll love it.

Can she sit through a movie yet? If you need to cut it short are you ok with leaving early? I'd just dress in pants and something warm on top, like a sweater.

My daughter can sit through the whole frozen movie, so I would think she could sit through a live show. She's 22 months. I'd go for it!

YES!
We went last year through preschool and I had the same concerns. It was worth every penny and she loved it so much that we tried to get tickets for another show but it was sold out.
It was cold but not freezing. Have you ever been to a hockey game?
I dressed her in boots, long pants, sweatshirt and took a blanket in my bag. We never used the blanket but I'm glad I had it.
It's a quick and captivating show. I enjoyed it and I'm not the biggest Disney fan! There's an intermission as well.

Yep. I would take my LO. She loves Frozen and if your daughter loves it she will probably be captivated!

We are going to the disney on ice "let's celebrate" next month since the frozen one isn't coming to our area, last year she was fussy but I think she is going to love it this time! She will be 2 1/2.

My son is a wiggle worm, he's 2. I think it is on a child by child basis if they can handle it. Sounds like fun!

I would in a heartbeat if LO could sit long enough to actually watch the movie. She is 2.5 as well. She does pretty good at hockey games though.

Friends of ours took their 2 year old last year. She LOVED it so much she cried the entire way home because she wanted to see it "again, again, again". So yes, I think its a great age.

We are opting out, just because of the cost and the timing of #2. But as far as cold, I was going to say no. I think she'll be fine, just dress her "warm-ish". We went to a hockey game at about this age and I would expect it to be about the same climate. LO wore long pants, long shirt and a hoodie. We took along a hat (she didn't keep it on).

Ooh, just saw that it is coming to our area in early November. I think I'm going to take my LO!

I'm taking my son at 18 months I think he'll love it but he's also a HUGE people watcher

I did it last year with a 2.5 year old and she loved it! I don't think we stayed for the whole thing but very close to it. I think I just put her in warm clothes and then she had a coat so we had that option too. It wasn't terribly cold but our show was in a basketball stadium not the hockey arena which might make the difference. The hockey arena is always frigid!

I think I'd consider it. My fear would be she wouldn't understand she has to stay in her seat and she would want to get closer to the ice. I think for us, we will wait until next year. It's going to be in our area in December and I'd love to take her but I just think 2.5 will be too young for our daughter. That being said, we've never taken her to any events like this before. I'd hate to spend $80+/-/pp and then she wants to leave after 5 minutes..

@Mrsbells: Thank you for the post! I just looked and it's coming in Jan/Feb so I'm going to buy tickets to take DD. She will be exactly 2.5 by then and she loves Frozen!

We started taking my DD to Disney on Ice shows around 12 months and she has enjoyed them all. I always take a sweater for DD since the ice makes it chilly!

I think that's a great age! We just took my 20mo to Sesame Street Live, and she LOVED it.

Yes! We are planning to go to Sesame Street live in a few weeks and my LO will then be 29 months.

Absolutely take her! We are going to the Sofia/Jake and the Neverland Pirates Disney show this weekend, I'm so excited as DD is obsessed with Sofia the First. If Frozen on Ice was coming, I would take her to that too. We have another Disney ice show, but I don't think she would enjoy that as much as she would Frozen.
