I haven't and I admit I am a little leery about it. Luckily my good friend has a pool so we just go there or to a private club if I can score an invite from other people. Haha, I am such a leech.

Sure! I can't wait to go to kiddie parks with fun fountains and wading pools!

yep! my mom's neighborhood has a really nice community pool. we go there all the time, and i feel 100% safe/clean there.

that being said, i have seen a few community/public pools that i would never be caught in myself, let alone my baby.

We just joined our community pool, I love it. But it's well taken care of so it doesn't feel dirty. The kiddy pool is always a bit warmer than the other pool but ah well.

The worst is the sand box they have there. The kids fill it up with water and then sit in this pool/sand slushy that I'm sure they're also peeing in. So gross but my daughter loves the sandbox.

I don't understand why people won't go to public pools but will go to private pools. Pools are pools, germs are germs, and people are people.

We go all the time. There is so much chlorine it doesn't bother me. The only problem I have ad is potty training and chlorine water filled tummies. If hasn't been pretty.

That's the only options we have in small towns, besides personal small above ground pools, very few underground private pools around here. I will take LO, I grew up going to one, worked at one, and I turned out just fine!

Yep. We lived across the street from a public pool when I was growing up, and we went all the time. We live in Florida, and don't have our own pool, so it's a must!
