So, heartbreak: LO is getting a scooter for her birthday tomorrow and it is going to be raining cats and dogs. I just hate that we can't take her outside!

I posted on my local mom's Facebook group asking for suggestions of indoor places to go. Multiple women suggested going to the mall. I was like, "Really?" And then one mom said to go when the "walkers" go early in the morning.

Is this a horrible idea? I am pretty desperate. The main thing that concerns me is that people will think it is annoying/inappropriate. But, since it is raining so badly and she'll be wearing a birthday shirt, maybe the grandmas will understand?
