Imagine that you were offered a pill. If you took it, you would be immortal and would never die (not even suicide). So basically you'd live forever. Your family would still be mortal though.
If you didn't take it, you would be mortal and could die (just like now).
Would you take the pill?

HELL NO. Honestly, that's the part of Christianity that really is weird to me, the whole living forever. It's hard for me to reconcile that in my mind because I have no desire to live forever. But I tell myself that heaven would be totally different than life on Earth.
It's not like I want to die, I just feel like there has to be an end in order to make life precious.

No. As much as I'd love to see my great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, etc..... I wouldn't want to have to keep losing everyone I love.

Definitely not. I have no interested in being immortal. Even if my family was immortal, I wouldn't want to live forever. Maybe it helps that I believe in an afterlife?? so that might play a part in my decision.
So if you take the pill do you continue to age? Or do you stay the same age like in Tuck Everlasting?

There is no way I would want this for me or for anyone. I can't imagine the pain of seeing everyone you love and knew, gone.

No. I want to be able to SLEEP at some point in my life. I don't get much of that these days!
