I secretly wanted twins, too --especially when I realized how un-fun pregnancy is. Always wanted 2 kids but I'm not sure I can do this again. Oh well.

I wanted twins until I went through having an infant... but all my friends with twins tell me that it's hard but you get through it!

YES! I'd love to have twins next. Then I can stop thinking about having babies. 3 biological is my max!

Before LO, I wanted twins 'cause we wanted two kids and I didn't want to do the whole pregnancy thing twice, especially since I'm not so young anymore. But, it was soooo much work caring for one, I think I would've have lost my mind caring for two.

i've always wanted twins but never imagined having them because they didn't run in my family. now, i'm REALLY scared. i'm with @pastemoo, i actually did not really enjoy pregnancy and i dread possibly having to do it again.... although it might be easier with only 1 next time.

I (not-so-secretly) want twins! I'm not even sure why, but I always always have... We'll have to see if that changes after having LO

For my first pregnancy I wouldn't of mind. But not for a second or third pregnancy.

@tequiero21: They always say every pregnancy is different. #2 could be much better.
My friend is a twin, and three of her siblings are twins (mom had twins, 1 baby, twins again!) and her mom's pregnancies were all super different, even the two different twin ones.
It is a gamble though. Another woman I met had 2 pregnancies and both were like MsMini's and so she got her tubes tied after 2 (lots of morning sickness and medicines that only kind of worked for 9 months straight).

i wouldn't mind having boy/girl twins for my second pregnancy! twins run in my family. i have a twin sis/bro and my other sis has a twin boy/girl. they're a lot of fun!

Both of my grandmas were twins (one set were identical and the other was fraternal). I grew up hearing and seeing how close twins can be and how much fun they had, so I've always wanted a set of twins. That said, I don't have any kids at all right now and two at once sounds terrifying!

I used to want twins, a boy and a girl, until I got further into the pregnancy and realized how much ONE baby needs. My cousin had twin girls, and she always seems so exhausted and frazzled. I know it's doable and she wouldn't trade them for the world, but I think it'd be too much for us, especially the first pregnancy.

I used to secretly want twins. But now that I'm pregnant, I'm really glad that I'm only having one baby this time. I do have to say though, that I think it would be nice to just go through everything once with twins and then be done with childbearing (since I only want two kids). Yes, it would be almost double the work, but then you wouldn't have to go through the whole process of pregnancy and childbearing for a second time a few years down the line.
