Petitemandoo's guest post today got me to thinking about baby/toddler modeling. But I 1) don't have the time and patience, and 2) Charlie is nowhere near as well-behaved as Zoe was.

I think it'd be fun to have my LO model! Not as a career though.

Hubby is very against it. He won't let me enter her in any sort of contest either. Not that I want to, but I won't even think about it because he'd just get upset, and I don't care enough about it to argue.

Papa Y keeps saying we need to cash in since mixed kids are in such demand But it's just not possible where we live ... and I've watched too much "Toddlers and Tiaras."

I was thinking about it, too. I don't think I would but for no real reason at all. But, every time I see an adorable baby on an ad, I think, "Aw, LO would be so cute in that outfit, too!"

I wanted to but I didn't think she had the disposition to be a baby model. She would be a better toddler model now but I don't really want to put all that effort into it.

We're the models for our hospitals maternity webpage. I look a little crazy since I'd just had a baby the day before but LO looks adorable.

i'd love to do it for a bit just to get some awesome pics and to have a story to tell the kids when they're older. but yeah, not really as a career.

Given the opportunity, I would but I'm not going to go out of my way to find opportunities...

Personally I wouldn't want my child to do anything in modeling/acting etc. I'm just scared to deth of the kinds of influences that arise from celebrity/Hollywood. I'd like her to have a genuine and hearty childhood. If she chose that later on in life she's an adult, I would still not be happy but it's her life.

Nope. DH would be sooo against it.
@Mrs. Yoyo: Toddlers and Tiaras is freaky.

Yes. If they send me the clothes and I could take the pictures myself. Then they use the pics and send me the check and tell me to keep the clothes. That would be the ideal modeling job for my babe!
