I think he would consider it. He watched DS all day while I worked all summer since he's a teacher. He was so much better at staying home than I was while on maternity leave. He accomplished way more in his day than I ever did. I think he would make a great SAHD.

I think he would do a great job, but in the big picture would not be fulfilled and that would trickle down into deeper things like self esteem and marriage relationship dynamics. And he's not the type to complain so he'd clam up about it until it all boiled over and he had some sort of mid life crisis to re-examine his life. No thank you!

Yep! He did it for three months after we moved for my job. He just found something last week and cried because he missed our LO!!

DH wants to be a SAHD, if I made more money I would totally let him do this. He hates that he is missing A's milestones and loved the 3 months paternity he spent with her when she was 2 months old.

If he had to, he would, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't happen unless he lost his job. He loves to work and be outside.

No, he really enjoys both his jobs! Plus they give him days with DS while I'm at work. I love knowing that when DS is a little older they can have fun daddy days and go fishing, etc.
