It's definitely a neat trick, but I am too lazy to sterilize a bottle and clean two additional plates.

Very cool, but I just use my fingers. Way faster and nothing extra to wash but my hands.

I have to try that! I hate separating egg whites and have to do it a lot when I bake. I recently made (a very big) cake that called for 14 egg whites between the cake and frosting.
