Looking to get a few for baby #2 but wondering if there are animals that 'work' better than others or are they all the same?

The only one I didn't like was the caterpillar - it was too heavy/thick - you want them more flat - although it was super cute!!!

We haven't noticed a difference. LO likes them all. His first was a red dog.

We've had several different ones and no difference was noted by LO--loved them all. I didn't have the caterpillar though!

We have the lion and it sits well because it has four legs that sprawl. DS' cousin liked the monkey and giraffe.

@Banana330: we started using them with our little guy around two months
We have the red puppy, frog, and tiger. The tiger was his favorite, but I don't think it had anything to do with how easy it was to use.

@littlebittyhouse: In our experience yeah. My LO has the giraffe and the Mary Meyer pink elephant. The elephant is overstuffed and my LO is a peanut so she prefers the giraffe right now! But the elephant im sure will be fine as she grows.

The grey elephant works great. Started using it right away. She mostly only uses it in the car seat. Uses MAM pacifiers around the house
