on his Zany Zoo! He immediately started wailing and now has a big red bump on his head! Should I be worried or call his pediatrician?? He only cried for about 2 minutes and then I distracted him and now he's playing normally.

I wouldn't be worried if he's acting normally. If you call they will just tell you to monitor him and make sure he's acting fine. No vomiting, etc.

Oh no! How hard did he hit it? You could always call and check just to put yourself at ease but sounds like he is probably ok if he's playing normally.

He should be fine! LO has hit her head too many times to count and she's always been fine.

Thanks you guys. He seems totally over it, but has a big egg on his noggin!! I feel so bad. He was just sitting near the Zany Zoo and leaned back and just fell backwards and hit the side of it with the side of his head! But he seems normal now, so I'm guessing he's okay.

@Adira: I'm sure he will be fine! My LO has hit his head on his zany zoo a hundred times, usually frontwards though, to the point that my husband has suggested child proofing it!

If he's acting normal he is probably ok. Aghh poor little guy!
