DD has RSV/bronchiolitis and we're going on night three in the hospital, as her oxygen levels keep dipping below what they want to see while she's sleeping. If your baby was hospitalized for this, how many days were you there and what did follow up care look like? This has been the week from hell...DS was in ER for pneumonia last week, today was supposed to be my first day of work and Dd's first day of daycare, my birthday is on Wednesday and DH will be away for work weds-sat. When it rains it pours!

Both babies had RSV at 4 months old but only DD needed to be hospitalized. She was in for a total of 6 days (4 days in the picu). We were across the country when she was hospitalized. Once she got released and my husband did, too, we flew home and followed up with our pediatrician. Any signs of breathing issues, they told us to go to the ER. We did take her back to the ER about a week after she was discharged but she was released. Biggest thing for us was using the nose Frida to get all the mucous out. It helped them breathe. When we took her to the ER the last time, we just needed some help with a stronger suction to get the mucous out that the nose Frida couldn't get to. Once it was done, she was breathing much better. We were also sent home with some nebulizer medicine to help with any wheezing. Luckily, the wheezing went away.
