I don't really have a recipe I use - just make a roux with butter and flour and add milk and extra sharp cheddar cheese to taste. Season with a little salt and pepper. Make sure it keep the sauce on low so it doesn't boil and get ruined. Takes about 10 minutes - the time it takes to cook the pasta. I do like to bake it in the oven for about 20 minutes after. Easy peasy!

For a super easy Mac and Cheese recipe that isn't too time consuming I love Petite Mandoo's (Mrs. Ladybug from weddingbee) mac&cheese recipe. I think you can google petite mandoo and Mac and cheese and you can find it. I love it. Most other baked Mac and cheese recipes are just too rich for me and also time consuming. I love stovetop Mac and cheese and while this isn't the same it's really good

Tidy moms buffalo Mac n cheese
I usually skip the chicken, and always half the cheese (one calls for 16oz and I use 8oz). Sometimes I make a second batch without the hot sauce.

I throw heavy whipping cream over elbows, add white american cheese and cook for a couple mins.
Perfect every time and the kids love.

Healthier- I do the Mac and cheese from skinnytaste. Unhealthy- Ina gardners recipe on food network is so good. Make sure to get the smoked cheese that it calls for. I usually do use milk instead of cream and it's still so decadent. But the skinnytaste one is still good.

We love this recipe:

I've gotten so many compliments on it and it's awesome because you can just use whatever vegetables you have on hand! We've also tried adding chicken and it's really good.

I just made a friend's mom's recipe! It's a box of pasta, small containers of cottage cheese and sour cream, and bag each of shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Crumble sleeve of ritz crackers on top with some melted butter. Bake for 30-45 minutes!

The best mac & cheese ever is definitely Martha Stewart's! So creamy & rich. I don't like the more dry, casserole-like mac & cheese recipes like The Pioneer Woman's.
