Diaper. I noticed on Sunday morning during the last 10 minutes of our church service that she had a dirty diaper, so I whispered to DH that I was going to take her out as soon as it was done (before people could come grab her from me!). LO overheard me and kept saying her word for diaper with increasing agitation until DH said he'd just take her now

My 2.5 year old just started using the word scared.

Ball! Normally he drops the last sound of the word but he says the "l" very clearly.

Right now its "sit!". Sit on this chair, sit on that chair, sit on your lap .... she wants to sit everywhere. We went to Ikea yesterday and I was worried it might take an hour just to get past the living room section. Thankfully, she was asleep through that part...
@autumnlove: I could not believe when my daughter learned "Elmo"! We had a couple books but at that point she had never seen Sesame Street or anything else with Elmo. I swear there's some crazy genius baby marketing behind that franchise ... they hook them so early!

@hellobeeboston: we are also hearing a lot of "mine" lately! He'll go up to toys that are not his and say "mine!" as if saying it makes it true

@hilsy85: earwax is hilarious. And yeah, exactly what J is doing!! We were at a friends this weekend and he would walk up to the toy the kids were playing with and say Mine! So bad. We have been trying to teach "share" and "turn"!! He also said mine to every rider mower in Home Depot this weekend. Haha!
