Assuming LO is at home, I'm part of the group convo... If LO is there, I'm the one chasing LO while DH sulks lol

Drinking in the corner with a close friend or following my husband as he socializes (extrovert vs introvert)

I need a more introverted option than socializing but more extroverted than sulking in a corner. I'm a do the bare minimum socializing without being anti-social type. It totally drains me though!

I am definitely an extrovert and enjoy being a part of the group. But I definitely would not consider myself the center of attention. So I said blending in!

Appearing to blend in but secretly praying that no one talks to me.
I'm a total introvert and I hate small talk but I can fake it well in social settings.

My friend bought me this shirt. It fairly represents my feelings about parties.

Probably more like hiding in the corner socializing with the host's cat and booze.

Since having kids I've changed from the life of the party (extrovert) to not wanting to go at all (introvert). I'd rather stay home and watch movies and play with my kids

Forcing myself to have awkward conversations? Or talking to the people I know. I don't really do stranger talk well

I'm an introvert.. I think by nurture I got good at being friendly/socializing, but really I just want to be home!

I try to blend in and hope I can keep a less than awkward conversation so no one has to awkwardly run away from me. Which happens A LOT.

I'm an introvert with my colleagues so I'll say hi, introduce DH if they don't know him already and make small talk. Then I'll move on and do my own thing. I go just to make an appearance.
Meanwhile, if it was DH's party, he's the social butterfly and is chatting it up with everyone and everything!
