... and the only restrictions are that you A) buy something for yourself and B) it has to be something that will make you happy for more than a few weeks (not a mani/pedi, etc). So you go buy yourself... what?
For me, it would be a new battery for my laptop, a few gently-used games and books, and a new iPhone case. What about you? What would you buy?

$50? New undies!!! My underwear drawer is in need of a serious update!
$100 new running shoes (this wouldn't quite cover it, but still!)
$250 would probably buy classes, like kettlebell class, bootcamp, etc for a solid amount of time!

oh man... my first thought was a massage! I want far fewer tangible things. Hmmm... maybe another pair of yoga pants? Mine have seen better days and they see my ass EVERY day so I would certainly get use out of a new pair. If it was 100+ I'd maybe start buying some new nicer clothes. I sort of hate everything I have.

$50 - Sadly, bras and underwear. Mine don't fit my body right anymore. I think my shape has finally settled, so time for new stuff.

$250 - Hardside luggage set. I've been wanting one for ages and ages.
$500 - A newer iPhone (with a better camera) and give mine to DH.

$50 - new jeans. The maternity ones are getting lose and the pre pregnancy ones don't come close to fitting.
The only reason it's not underwear is because I just made a policy to throw out anything that is fraying or had holes in it. It's bad!

$50: Maternity pants or a maternity maxi dress. I'm running low on outfits that are comfy but feel wasteful buying more when I only have a couple more months to go.
$100: Makeup. I love splurging at Sephora, it's a very rare treat!
$250: Some new bedding and decor items for our bedroom. The boys have such cool rooms, and ours is just a mish-mash and doesn't look good at all.
$500: Some cool art for our walls, which are still far too bare considering we've been in this house for 2 years, and a coffee table - or more likely an ottoman that could double as a coffee table.

$100 - I would preorder Hyrule Warriors for Wii U and then spend the rest on new sheets
$250 - Fancy purse or boots? I resell luxury goods but I have just about none of my own hehe, that would make me feel special
$500 - This would be really hard to spend on just myself!! Probably all of the above and then use the rest to pay for a few chiropractor visits

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: you must be a better shopper than i am because i just looked into changing the battery in my laptop, OUCH! it was more than i expected, but i think mac batteries tend to be $$ compared to some other brands 
for $50, i would get a groupon for someone to come deep clean my bathroom and kitchen (and whatever else they had time for amount), that would bring me joy for a long time!
for $100, i would get a new disk off ebay for my car's GPS, mine doesn't work right now & it seems stupid to spend the money for a new disk when i could buy a portable gps for less than the cost of the disk or just keep using waze in my phone for free, but i really miss the one in my dash.
for $500, i'd get my legs lasered! not having to shave my legs again... that would be priceless
ETA: i forgot $250! whoops! for $250 i would buy a new pair of boots and a new fall jacket, and if i was particularly thrifty & had anything leftover, a pair of leggings

For $500, I'd probably replace all of our cutlery, dishes and drinking glasses. And maybe get a winter coat

@mrs. bird: My laptops are HP and Lenovo, not exactly top notch but they get the job done. For my birthday I got the HP a new battery and cord plus a book and a game. I also went ahead and got the Lenovo a new cord since they were so cheap. The battrery, though, was something like 30 odd and I didn't want to 'waste' the money at the time. Thus the game and book.
For 50 I was able to get a new iPhone case, two books (one used, one new), two games (both used), a new Lenovo battery (going to be taking it vs the HP to school since its smaller), and silicone cupcake cups for lunches

@Mrs. Grizzly Bear: mine's $130 for the battery in its defense, it's almost 4 years old and still works, just not as well as it used to. you got a lot out of your GCs! well done!
