This whole area used to be swamp so we (and all our neighbors) have a bit of a centipede problem when the weather starts getting warm again. This is not the first home where we have had a centipede problem, but it doesn't make it any less gross. I found my first one yesterday after washing dishes-- what I thought was a bit of vegetable at the bottom of the sink was in fact a washed-up centipede. And Wagon Sr. is having a field day downstairs right now with his can of WD-40.
YUCK. Centipedes are SO gross. I know they kill/eat other bugs but I just cannot stand them. They always scare the bejeezus out of me because 1) they're so huge, 2) they move so fast, and 3) they have so many gosh darn legs. YUCK. yuck yuck yuck.
