We're official! Just got our beta results and the level was 320! Yay! I'm 17dp retrieval. So funny because the first time I got a positive beta we were at 321 this same day. Ha!

@momazon: It just sucks. I had so much hope that a fresh transfer would be what we needed... and now I'm terrified that frozens will fail for us again.
@mama2em: Thanks chick. The waiting is giving me grey hairs.

@winter_wonder: Wow! Retrieved 24! That's great. Stay hydrated and watch out of signs for OHSS. I forget the point where you need to concerned about it.

@PurplePumps: if you are ordering one or more medications, I would call WinFertility. They beat everyone's prices that I asked for a quote for. WinFertilty is part of Walgreens pharmacy.

So I don't want toshare the news without her, so I won't mention her name but there was a HB user who was doing IVF. She's fairly active on IG but hasn't been on HB for a few months but she got her !!! Lots of BFP this month! A lot of Christmas miracles!!
Hoping a bunch of us will follow your luck in Jan/Feb and we'll be pregnant with you guys soon!

@momazon: we did traditional. Our fertilization report told us 7 fertilized and we go in on Wednesday for insemination! Congrats to you by the way!
@fliegepilzhut and @mama2em: congrats!!!!
@bluestripedbee: yes! Kind of crazy. I wasn't responding very quickly to the mess at first but then things seemed to take off.

I had an appointment with my RE's partner today to talk about timing with FET. He said to call once I get AF (I haven't had it after my D&C yet), and then we will start the process with my second cycle post D&C). It was a pretty good appointment. He was really pushing for us to just transfer 1, but I really want to transfer 2. I completely understand his reasoning to transfer 1, but now we have had 1 failed fresh cycle, and a second fresh cycle ending with a blighted ovum, and only one embryo took anyway.
I do now know that one of our blasts that we have frozen is hatching. He said that if we transfer that one, we are at a higher risk of that one splitting, so I might consider one if the embryologist tells us that the hatching one is our best bet. It feels good to have a plan again!

thank you everyone! i just had my 2nd beta and i'm a little shocked..my hcg was at 1053 and i'm now 14dp3dt. i'm very excited that it's progressing, but now i'm wondering if perhaps both embryos might have took. i'm having my first ultrasound on wednesday, hoping they see what they need to see...
@sunshine1810: @winterwonder: @bluestriped bee: excited for all of you, i hope i see all of your bfps soon enough!
@momazon: @FLIEGEPILZHUT: how are you ladies doing?

@mama2em: I think around that time, mine was that high and I had twins! Good luck!!!
kiwi / 613 posts
@mama2em: Twins alert! :). Have you checked out: http://www.betabase.info/index.html? That's so great that you're progressing - yay! Are they having you do a third beta? Mine today at 14dp5dt was 697 and I'll repeat again on Wednesday. My clinic waits a bit longer yet for the first ultrasound - I'm hoping to go in for one around 6 weeks 4 days if things keep progressing.

@bluestriped bee: Thanks! Can't wait till you all are going through your transfers next month-- there's a good strong group of you for January!
@Sunshine1810: Sounds like a successful appt today! Do they have an approximate date yet for this time around? Can your remind me how many you have frozen?
@winter_wonder: How are you feeling? All recovered?

@momazon: so much better! I'm thankful the retrieval was on Friday so I could rest up

@mama2em: thank you!!
@momazon: it depends on when I get my period. Since I haven't had one yet (3.5 weeks post D&C) it might be hard to predict. Assuming I get a period in December, then we would plan on doing FET after my January period. But it might be February depending on how things go. My OB said it can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks post D&C for AF to show up. I have 7 frozen blasts.

@Sunshine1810: Gotcha. I guess the human body is just really hard to predict, especially after going through something like you've been through. I'm so thrilled you got so many frozens this time. That must feel great to have so many chances at pregnancy "on ice."

@Sunshine1810: I'll definitely be cycling with you next year sometime, I just know it! Thinking of you. xx

@momazon: it does feel amazing! Especially after having none to freeze our first cycle. I never even thought we would have 1!
@jaguar: Oooh I hope so!! I'm so hopeful for both of us!

@mama2em: Wow! That's an awesome beta!
@Sunshine1810: FX for you that AF shows soon!
Got my first beta today- 200 (or 199?) at 12dpt. The nurse at the clinic said it was good, that they want to see at least 100 at this point. My next beta will be in 1 week!
grape / 91 posts
@tequiero21: oh boy, i wonder how this will all turn out! hoping everything progresses well in these early weeks...
@momazon: just checked out the website! i entered in my info and it says my doubling time is 30 hours. all i know is that hcg is supposed to double every 48 hours? i actually thought my first ultrasound sounds like it is too early..i don't want them to cause me unnecessary worry if things are a little behind! crossing my fingers though...
@FLIEGEPILZHUT: yay! so happy for you!
pear / 1556 posts
@FliegepilzHut: that's great!!! So happy for you!! I love that your clinic isn't making you come back for another beta for a week. I did two weeks of betas every 48 hours and was stressed to the max. I found that more stressful than IVF.
pomegranate / 3533 posts
@mama2em: Thanks!
@Sunshine1810: This is normal protocol for them. Wish I weren't feeling nervous...but I've finally convinced myself that that is a fine # and I need to trust my clinic, since they've never steered me wrong before. This super-early stage is hard on me this go-round.

for anyone that has had a bfp with ivf, have you had spotting after a positive beta? i have been having spotting all day but just when i wipe (sorry if this is TMI!). it's been pink or red, mixed with CM (again sorry for the TMI ).
i called my RE and they had me come in for a scan and they said it's completely normal and they see it all the time. it's scary to see blood though, and i'm feeling pretty nervous about it. they were able to see a sac though today which is great. the nurse that did my scan said she is suspecting a twin pregnancy and that the surge in hormones can cause some bleeding..another nurse said it can be from implantation (even tho that would have happened a week ago...). if anyone has had any experience with this, please let me know!
truly, after the 2ww is over, there's a never ending list of worries. this sucks, i don't know if i can just "relax and not stress" as they have told me to do...

@Jenn23: Thank you!
@mama2em: I understand completely. But at least we can try, right? Everything crossed for you!
honeydew / 7968 posts
@mama2em: I did have spotting for one day. They never found the cause. They saw me right away. Can't remember what color it was tho. Hope it's nothing! I have heard plenty of women bleed in first trimester.
