@Banana330: aw so amazing how much the babies look like BABIES now!! I'm sorry you didn't find out the sex, I will be so sad if that happens for us! For my daughter it almost did, they even had me do jumping jacks to get her to move and she refused. Ultimately they only were able to tell because I had a low lying placenta and they needed to do a trans-vaginal ultrasound to see exactly how close it was to my cervix, and from that angle they could see. Pleeeasse cooperate baby #2! lol

I had a good appointment today. Listened to heartbeat really quickly and headed on my way! I scheduled my high def U/S and then I'll head to the dr right after on May 17. Can't believe I'm nearly half way!

@matador84: that is so exciting! Yay for good appts. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a high def US? Maybe I have but I haven't realized it.
It's a little quiet over here. I have an appt this Friday and then my anatomy scan on May 13. Hope everyone is hanging in there!

I've been horrible about posting this pregnancy, but I'm reading along as people post. I think I'm finally over the nausea and food aversions and my appetite is coming back in full force.
I started feeling the baby last week at 16 weeks which was so exciting. With my son I had an anterior placenta and didn't feel him until around 20-21 weeks.
I'm also so excited for our anatomy scan next week. It's exciting to see the list start to light up with colors!

Glad to hear everyone is doing well! Nothing new going on here, I did buy a few big ticket items during a Target sale. I think we are going crib shopping/scouting this weekend and will buy one after the anatomy scan. My mom sent me a huge box of baby items she crocheted! Slowly getting ready for baby....:)

@Boopers: I barely felt movement last time too. It's so different not having an anterior placenta. I'm almost 20 weeks now and feeling it most days.
@Bibliolove: Nice! It feels good to get some stuff in place.
I think i'm going to call my midwife today and find out if they have the results of my anatomy scan yet. I'm curious whether the doctor who reviews them could tell the sex or not..

Just spoke to my midwife. I have to go back for a second scan. They couldn't get a good look at the spine or sex, so she said that's enough reason to go back.

However, I also have to go back in two weeks to try and get a better look at the heart. I am also measuring at my original due date lol

This is a weird time..I am fine with this period of not-knowing what the gender will be, since once I know I can't go back. It's kind of fun to imagine either/or, before I learn the facts.

@Boopers: I just started feeling movement too (at least I'm fairly confident it's movement!) it's so exciting and def my favorite part of being pregnant!
We just figured out our daycare situation for when I go back to work, so feeling relieved about that! Otherwise just moving along until my anatomy scan in a few weeks!

@sugarbee: oh my gosh, such a PERSON! Just blows my mind that we are carrying these actual babies at this point.
@Boopers: Glad your'e feeling better. I've been eating more normally (bigger meals, less snacks), but I tried to go off diclegis when my rx ran out on Friday and I was so sick over the weekend again. Back on the diclegis horse for the next month. Sigh lol (At least on it, I'm feeling good now).
I am soooo anxious for my anatomy scan in 2 weeks. I can't wait to find out boy/girl! Also, of course, to make sure little kiddo is looking good. We declined genetic screenings so this will be our first real look at the health of the baby.
I am feeling movement too, but not super consistently. I'll feel it a bunch for a few minutes, but then not again for a few days. I wish I was feeling it more on the daily, but I"m just 17w today so I know it is early. I seem to remember last time I felt nothing until 17.5 weeks and by 20ish weeks I was still not feeling her daily. I don't think it was until 22-24 weeks that it was more of a daily thing. Although also I remember it was often uncomfortable (especially for me in the 24-32 week range) so maybe I shouldn't be so anxious lol. LO used to like to stand on my bladder-- not a fan.

Ugh so I just got rear ended on my way home from work with my dd in the car. Everyone is fine, thank goodness...but now my anxiety is out of control. I called the emergency line, but they told me to stay home and go to the office tomorrow unless I'm bleeding or cramping. Which I'm glad I'm not doing either so far. Ugh. Not what this worried mama needed today.

we had such a great scan today! I had really low expectations after my first NHS scan but it was SO good and thorough and they checked everything even the gender!
It's a girl!!!
And everything looked fine so I'm feeling over the moon!
I've been awol on these boards lately as I was travelling for work and then away on holiday which was SO nice. Just catching up now... so exciting to see the scans roll in and some gender announcements!
