Its only been out for a few hours but...
its already too hot to.... eat, sleep, think and EVERYTHING else!
luckily DD and I are going to stay with my mom this weekend, however DH will be home working on renovations.. poor guy. I'm going to try to find a window unit until we can get if fixed.

Do you have a little fan thingy? We don't have a/c in the basement, but it's not so bad if I just have a fan blowing directly on me!

@mrbee: we've got a big fan moving from room to room with us and a little fan in DDs room. I also covered all the windows with blankets to try and keep it as cool as possible, but Its soo hot! I'm not one of those people that like the heat either.

@mrbee: Its true... my mom doesn't even turn her air on unless she has visitors and the other day someone else was telling me how much they enjoy direct sunlight, humidity and 100 degree weather. I think its crazy! I'm so ready for fall!

oh you poor things, i am so sorry! sounds like you are taking good steps to try and ameliorate the situation. a window unit definitely sounds like a good investment!

Oh I feel your pain! Ours has gone out twice in a month, both times in the midst of 100+ heat. Thankfully the AC guys had sympathy on the poor pregnant woman and came the same day both times.

wahoo! so thankful DH has connections through work. The AC is fixed!
