Don't I get a break, a free pass because of the hell I went through the first 7. 5 months of her life with her sleep? 3.5 months of it consisting of hourly to 2 hour wake up? On decaf?

Sleep regressions are horrible. I think it is natures way of trying to convince parents to have fewer children, because I certainly take birth control more seriously during them

Finally asleep in her crib at 10:15pm roughly same time as last night. Coincidence? I think not. Sigh.
8.5 hours is not enough sleep for her.....

@locavore_mama: hm well.. We are the poster children of regressions .. DD was the perfect CIO baby from 5 mo to 18 mo and as soon as she jumped out of her crib,we put her on the floor mattress. After that the only way she would sleep all night was with one of us lying next to her. This went on for a year haha. We just didn't have the heart to let her cry... DS just got over a regression and my DH had to go in and sleep on the floor next to him for a few weeks. We are wimps once they can talk. Sorry! Just be sure not to operate any heavy machinery tomorrow..

Oh my gosh... Dd takes a good 2-3 hours to put back to sleep in the middle of the night sometimes so I feel your pain, sort of. Nervous for 18 months here!! Especially since 18/19 months is our new timeline for ttc#2...

This blows. I think we are in it but not as bad. He used to sleep 11 at night and now it's 10 (getting up an hour earlier, at least) and not making up for it in naps. He's getting less than 12 hours of sleep in 24 hrs. And wakes up from every nap hysterical and in a bad mood.

And 3 or 4 days out of the week he will skip naps completely.

I'm so over this sleep stage. Less and less sleep at night and less and less naps. Last night 10 hours of sleep and today a one hour nap all day. I can't deal with the cranky/clingyness that is resulting. HELP!

T actually slept until 6:15 this morning (down at 7:30!) and appears to be taking at least a 1.5 hour nap today. Fingers. Crossed.
